Beforetime, the Tengchung persons are called “the old zongzi(glutinous rice dumpling)” among outlander, although it is meaning of making fun, actually it also explaines that Tengchung is indeed the township of zongzi. The Tengchung person will regard it as the superior delicacy for guests at a banquet, because of its sweet life implication and unique family local delicacies remembered by overseas Chinese of Tengchung. They always take zongzi firstly as present, and bethink of the first course of zongzi once back to hometown......The zongzi, means the nostalgia.There used to be swarmed businessman and heavy traffic in border town Tengchung, while the “zongbao street” located at Guanyin pond is also a page of brilliance. Hence it is always the main wish of garden host to renovate "zongbao street" and reappear the past downtown liveliness ......

In order to meet the need of current tourism, on the premise of preservation of classical cultural characteristic of "old zongbao street", the garden host rebuild a bar, teahouse, antique shop, the local product shop, national folk arts& crafts shop and national clothing shop on original Tengyue style residence construction.

Whenever the night falls, the rich national affective tone music is played faintly,and a riot of color light is also glittering the ray. 4500 pieces of antique furniture from Tengchung folk of Ming and Qing Dynasties are all over each corner of the garden, within your touch. Spring stool, chair, jade jadeite, lantern, flower trellis, blue and white porcelain ......all of these let you mind absent, as if returning to the age of horse caravan and copper bell making noises on that ancient road, along with the calm rivers and creaking waterwheel sound ......
